…it still had $40 worth of GAS IN IT!! And $400 worth of brand new tires!!
*sigh*
At least Royce wasn’t injured - a little shaken up - but not injured. Thankfully, I took his car to Austin today and he drove my van. If he had been in his little Saturn, I’m not sure we’d be so blessed.
Not sure what will happen next. Royce was not at fault. Hopefully the “at fault” insurance co. will call soon…

At least he didn’t end up here…
Or here… where the “at fault” driver landed after all was said and done!

Awww!!!! I am so sorry that you guys have to deal with that! Did the other person just pull into his front right fender or something??? Man… that really stinks.

The jeep (which is in the ditch) pulled out in front of the truck. The truck struck the jeep and then the jeep hit Royce - if Royce hadn’t turned his wheel, the jeep would have hit him dead straight on. Then the jeep veered off to the L, hit something on the side of the road, and then crossed the road again and ended up in the ditch on the R side of the road.
Very scary.
Yeah. It really does stink. I don’t know what will happen. It’s clearly the jeep’s fault. She caused the impact of both vehicles and she is liable for the fencing/landscaping at the house that the truck landed in. That wall the truck is sitting in is actually someone’s backyard fence. Can you imagine if you’d have been playing out there with your children and some truck comes flying through your backyard?? Thank God the truck hit the stone wall - the rest of their fencing was wooden. The truck would have been in their kitchen. Literally.

Oh but please pray for the driver of the truck. She was injured badly. The girl who was driving the jeep - she walked away no problems…she was all of 18 yrs old or so… The woman who was driving the truck has scoliosis, titanium rods in her back, and was being treated, at the scene, for severe neck pain.
I felt so bad for her and was praying for her the whole time I was there. I don’t know her name.
