You know you are one of my favorite people! No. Really. Because you are so diplomatic and really support each of us in our own walks. God has really blessed you in that regard. There are some who think everything has to be as according to THEM.

On Tuesday there were 3 people I thought about calling BEFORE I called the cops. And in this order. 1) Royce (which I did) 2) my friend who is a cop (but I've already pestered him enough this year) and 3) You - so you could settle me down.... but I couldn't find your number!!!! (It was in my cell phone but my nerves were rattled and I couldn't find my cell phone!!) I knew as a "public school person" that you would be most diplomatic in your reasoning with me.

I know the schools try. I think our little elementary school has THE MOST AMAZING teachers. I love them all. I know feelings are hurt that I pulled the kids out - but... I just couldn't do it anymore.

You know I added up how many science lessons Adri has had this year? 17. Seventeen. He's had hundreds of lessons in math and reading and writing - because those were his TAKS subjects - but he's had 17 graded science lessons.

It's really sad b/c my kids really love school. And maybe down the road they will have the opportunity again. I would love to finish my degree and move. Actually we are thinking about moving to a smaller city that is closer to San Marcos so the kids will be in a smaller school district and maybe it wouldn't be so rough?? Is that just lofty thinking on my part??!?! I don't think we are going to move - but it's a nice thought.
